Christen Smith

Christen Smith joined CRA in October 2020. She holds an Early Childhood Associates Degree from Gateway Community and Technical College, as well as a Kentucky State Director’s Credential. In 2016, she earned her Infant/Toddler Montessori Credential from GCCME and completed her 3-6 Montessori Credential at CRA in 2022. Christen has been dedicated to the Early Childhood field since 2001, with three years spent working with 3-6-year-olds, three years as a center director, and the remaining years focused on teaching toddlers. Christen finds joy in working with toddlers because of their curiosity and rapid development, and she values Montessori education for its ability to foster independence, respect, and a love for learning from an early age. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her daughter, Taylor.
