Michelle Tensing
Michelle Tensing has worked in a variety of roles at CRA since 2012! Michelle attended Northern Kentucky University where she received her Bachelor’s of Social Work in 2014. While attending undergrad, Michelle began working at CRA (NKMC at the time!) and worked as an aftercare teacher, sub, elementary assistant, and even the French teaching assistant! During this time, Michelle rediscovered her love for the Montessori Method and decided to go on to get her Master’s Degree in Education from Xavier University with a 3-6 American Montessori Credential. Michelle is now in her 9th year as a lead 3-6 teacher. Michelle attended Montessori school herself as a child from the age of 3 all the way through high school and is very passionate about the method. Michelle’s favorite part about Montessori is the respect given to each child as well as the way it fosters independence and a love of learning.
In her free time Michelle enjoys being outside, listening to all types of music, reading, spending time with friends, and crafting!
